wow you spending a fair amount of dollar on the blaster m8 , is he going to be racing it next year Hi Chris - had about a £grand from selling his P/Shark, only fair it should be put back into his new bike for him. Wasn't interested in racing last year but has mentioned it a few times lately but too young for Blaster classes . Guess he likes to have a blinged/modded/tuned bike as much as we do.... and why not I enjoy building them as much as he does riding them to be honest! Everything bought from US at around 75% less than over here - even if I get stung on customs/VAT will still be half the price. For example, looking around their dealers sites a set of PEPS for about £300 against 1200 in UK!!!!! or Lonestar wide axle delivered at £200 when a certain dealer here was "doing me a favour" at £380 - got an Nduro in the end from ATVExtreme in Scotland cheaper than from Nick Davis himself.

Thanks mate, just wish the damn carb would get here (last tracked in Customs ) so I can sort the engine out, badly under fueled at the moment, OK on full throttle but running rough at less than half. Should fly when sorted. Frame and running gear about done, just waiting for a few stainless bolts not included in the kit .

Well finally got the carb - now fitted with the VForce3 reeds etc! Starts and runs fine on 32:1 premix as autolube now history. Struggles to tickover mainly do to no airfilter /induction pipe fitted yet as have blue silicone 45 degree connecting pipe on order - hope fitting the induction gubbins will cure it. Carb was jetted/needle/flow/float height setup to the bike modifications and it started 3rd kick and revs just fine so am confident it's my impatience to get it running that is the problem - we will see If not have a selection of idle/main jets to try supplied with the carb as was the required throttle cable - £120 for the kit inclusive of setting up with jets/needle/flow etc, throttle, postage and customs - can't wait for the Elkas to arrive
